Vincent D. Simeone passed away at the Epoch Senior Care Center in Melrose on Sunday, July 4, 2010. He was 102 years of age. Vincent was born Melrose, was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Simeone was an accountant for the Swift Company for several years and then worked as the Heard of Provisions for JB Squires for many years. Vincent was a WWII Navy Veteran Seabee and a longtime member of St. Mary's Church.Beloved husband of the late Helret (Connors) Simeone. Caring brother of the late Raymond Simeone, Constance Simeone, Mary Piccolo, Lawrence Simeone & Augustus Simeone. Uncle of the late Beverly Piccolo. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Friday July 9th at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the mass from 8:30-9:30AM. Burial in Wyoming with full military honors provided by the US Navy.
