Barbara J. McLean passed away at Brighton of Medford Nursing Home in Medford on July 8, 2010. She was 91 years of age. Barbara was born in Wakefield, raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School. Mrs. McLean was a homemaker living most of her life in Melrose. Barbara was an extremely talented knitter, a lover of animals and an avid Red Sox fan. Mrs. Mclean was a member of the Christian Science Church serving as a practitioner & reader throughout the years. Barbara was the wife of the late Donald W. McLean. Mother of Nancy J. Herb & her husband Barry of Medford. Sister of Priscilla Wade of AZ and the late Virginia Fairweather & Phyllis Curry. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St. Melrose, on Friday, July 16th at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited.
