Alfred P. Cardillo, of Center Barnstead, NH, formerly of Wakefield, died at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH on July 27, 2010 at the age of 88. Alfred was born & raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1940. He worked as a Manufacturer for the Gillette Company in Boston for many years before retiring at age 60. Alfred resided in Wakefield for most of his life and lived the past 13 years in Center Barnstead, NH. He was a member of the Wakefield Elks for 66 years. Alfred was the beloved husband of Dorothy F. (Holland) Cardillo for 43 years. Loving brother of Mildred Connolly & her husband James of Fl, Doris Masiello & her husband Ernest of Melrose and the late Domenic David Cardillo and Eleanor Veerman. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday July 30th at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10:30AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Friday at the funeral home prior to the mass from 8:30-10:00AM. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alfred's name to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 20 River Rd., Pittsfield, NH 03263-3314.
