My husband Dave & i came to know Fr. Field in Cambridge first, and then as Pastor of Incarnation where my sister Midge worked for him. God has blessed him. His journey is over. May he be embraced with Jesus and Mary now.

Father Field you were an inspiration to many,near and afar. We were so fortunate to have you as our Pastor the past eight years. Your legacy will live for many years. May you rest in peace with your family who have gone before you in God's grace. We will greatly miss you.

Jim Field was for real. He was the most authentic person and priest that I had the privilege to come to know in the few years we served
together on the FDLC Board.
I know for real that he is celebrating the eternal liturgy in God's Kingdom. Jim, pray for all of us in liturgical ministry as we struggle to be faithful and authentic in handing on the Sacred Mysteries,doing what Jesus asked us to do. Now, that you know for real, help us to faithfully share what has been handed on to us.
It must have been a great homecoming! Jim, rest in peace.

I have such wonderful memories of Father Field as our liturgical guide when I was a college student. I think we gave him a run for his money.
