I called the offce today and poor Bobby had to give me the news. The grief just sneaks up on you doesn't it? Just when you think it's ok it hits you.
I knew Byran when I was a buyer for "Digital". I will forever have a place in my heart for him and every St. Patricks Day I will recall going into J.P. and I will have that with me forever. Thank goodness time heals. Like all of us, we wish we had said this... or done that. I keep re-writing this and nothing seems approproate.

My deepest condolences to the Cook family. I was lucky enough to work with Bryan and learned so much from him about the business (I was a 'green' new grad)when I joined NCR / Symbios...and DEC was still DEC. His professionalism, mentorship, and friendship will always be remembered.

Andrew, Rachael and Abbey: Your dad was the first person that I met at Harvard. When I walked into my room at Hollis Hall and shook hands with him for the first time, little did I know that we would be living together for the next four years. I got to know your grandmother, aunt, uncles and their families. Our favorite time of the year was the ski trip to Marjorie's (Stowe) at the end of the hockey season. Bryan loved his family and they loved him It was obvious from the amount of time they communicated with each other.
Marjorie, Dickie, Bobby: Thanks for the memories and support that you gave Bryan, Mike, Kevin and I during that great four year period.
We have all lost a piece of our lives, but we have the memories of Bryan that will last forever. My prayers are with you at this time of great loss.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Bryan. Bryan was a friend, an accomplish athlete and a caring person. I will always remember his talents on the ice, playing hockey for Melrose High in the early seventies. At a young age, Bryan had the ability and skills to carry a whole team on his back and set the pace for many a victory. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Cook families. I am sure Bryan will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Sincerely,
Paul Chasse ‘71

Barney's picture on this page says it all - a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He was a great friend and teammate, our happy leader on and off the ice. Playing hockey and going to school was hard work, but being with Barney made it fun. I'll always remember Barney, OD, Ken, and myself as faithfull Eliot House roommates and good buddys. And I'll always remember visits from Bobby, skiing at Margie's, Dick at our games, and Barney and Jo. Thanks for the happy times, Barney. You're the best.
